Meet Sophie Lin

A product designer who solve problems.

Sophie as a multi-talented designer

I'm a reliable contributor who is always willing to take the initiative. I'm full of curiosity for every single task. And I hope to explore the boundary of design, for a meaningful life and better world.

Design for All Platforms

I've been doing all-platform design the majority of my career. Native apps (iOS & Android), mobile webs, desktop webs are the platforms I'm dealing with on a daily basis.

With End-to-end Design Process

I have extensive experience designing from insights to ideations and to final solutions. I also have experience doing explorative research, usability testing, and front-end development.

Design for Consumers and Business

I have experience designing for both consumer products and business products. And sometimes I will design for consumer and business at the same time - for one initiative that has implications on both sides.

Experience with Startups and Enterprises

I've used to work for several startups, serving as a designer wearing multiple hats and building something from zero. I'm currently working as a designer in an enterprise, with specific responsibilities, and working with all kinds of cross-functional teams.

Teach My Dog to " Talk"

Till today, I has spent 97 hours of my personal time volunteering in providing career advice to young designers.

I used to had a hard time finding my first job as a new-grad designer. It's so hard that I might not be able to make it without instructions and encouragement given by others - those kind and lovely people, some of them I've known for years and some just met for the first time. So I started sharing out my experience and suggestions as soon as I gained some. I believe it's always good to give back to the community. And I've also had the chance to reflect on my design practice and career planning in this process.

Sophie likes to be contacted, so does her dog.

Feel free to contact me if you are interested in my work and my experience. Or just simply say hi to my dog!
